The three-story, white, stone College includes a worship center, a comfortable
lecture room, a graceful reception area and an attractive common room. The
College library ranks among the finest English language collections in
Jerusalem. It has nearly 21,000 books, magazines, and journals which include
Biblical studies, history and liturgies, as well as a special emphasis on
pilgrimage and political science.
In addition, in a Roman cistern on the College
grounds, you will find the Benshoof Museum, a collection of archaeological
artifacts from the ancient Biblical site of Dothan.
The spacious College also contains 20 double bedrooms, each with a private
bath and individually controlled heat and air conditioning. The College offices,
staff apartments, a dining room, a kitchen, and a student laundry are here as
well.
People from all over the world make up the staff at St. George's College
Jerusalem. Palestinians, Americans, Australians, Brits, and New Zealanders work
side-by-side to make the College thrive as one of the leading institutions in
Jerusalem serving the Anglican Church.
