These unique stoles--made by the Melchite Sisters of the Emmanuel Monastery in Bethlehem and women from the nearby Aida Refugee Camp--depict the Jerusalem Cross, a bundle of wheat, a fish, and the first edicule built over the Empty Tomb in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre (now also a part of the logo of St. Georges College Jerusalem). These symbols represent our early Christian heritage in Palestine.
Your purchase benefits both the Melchite Sisters and the seamstresses from nearby Aida Refugee Camp in Bethlehem.
