`Rekindling the Spirit`
Reunion and Celebration
19 February – 22 February, 2009

Description and Information:
St. George's College - Jerusalem St. George's College - Jerusalem St. George's College - Jerusalem St. George's College - Jerusalem St. George's College - Jerusalem St. George's College - Jerusalem St. George's College - Jerusalem
The purpose of the Reunion and Celebration weekend is multifaceted; to offer outstanding spiritual and educational events, to celebrate the mission of the College, its history, the work of the staff (past and present), and to learn about future Courses and improvement plans for the College. Most importantly though, the reunion will provide us opportunities to re-kindle friendships, remember our experiences on College Courses and continue our spiritual journey.

The reunion begins Thursday evening with an Opening Reception and dinner and ends Sunday after a closing Eucharist and final lunch. In between, we will have the chance to attend lectures, bible studies, and social gatherings, as well as to have informal time to awaken memories and to catch up with each other.

Each morning will begin with a service before breakfast. On Friday there will be an opening Eucharist, and on Saturday and Sunday, Morning Prayer (optional) will be offered. Breakout Sessions including lectures, bible studies and activities will be available in the mornings and afternoons. The days will close with Evening Prayer (optional), reception, dinner and evening program. We will end the weekend with a closing Eucharist on Sunday morning followed by lunch.

The Rev. Dr. Kamal Farah, Dr. Henry Carse, and The Rev. Dr. Stephen W. Need are among the presenters. Br. Jonathan Maury and Br. James Koester of the Society of St. John the Evangelist will be coordinating our worship and bible study sessions. Exact titles for the Breakout sessions have not been finalized, but you are guaranteed outstanding presentations in the St. George’s College style!

And of course, several College staff members will be there to greet you!

During this relaxing, yet stimulating weekend, we hope to fire up the ever-present spark that exists within all of us who have spent time on College Courses.

Cost:
